I was reached out by a friend of mine named Zach. He is a mindful fella and we have had several deep conversions about this incredible world. He asked me if I believe in the Law of Attraction and if I would be interested in sharing my thoughts. I said no. haha here she goes,
When I feel good everything around me lights up. Moments of pure joy has me thinking that this world is delightful and full of opportunities. It feels like goodness keeps coming! They don't need to be big things - even just comforting friends or a stocked fridge. Emotions are truly powerful for when I have had bad days I feel defeated and that the world is out to get me. The Law of Attraction is the notion that we will attract certain experiences based on positives or negative thoughts that we feel. This explains my feeling about goodness coming in bundles and sadness arriving as a heavy cloud. Our brains are very good at thinking thoughts, subconsciously replaying scenes like an old video tape of our past. I catch myself thinking about thinking and generally if they are negative emotions I place myself in the past, choosing not to let go, and attracting more negativity into my life. Viscous cycle we can all relate to ya? Oh but when things are good ALL I do is think about thinking about the future! Life is SO good & it is only going to get better! And miraculously it does. Does it really though? I think that when you are in a positive mindset you are more noticeable of goodness around you! The Law of Attraction states that more positive moments come into your life when you think positively.
So what do we do with our negative thoughts if we want a happy life?
Easy, you just through them away.
Haha. That maybe what we want but it isn't as simplistic. These next few tips have been taught to me through my yoga experiences. We acknowledge all of our thoughts. We remind ourselves that we are not our thoughts. We re-frame our thoughts to teach ourselves a lesson. We place our less good thoughts into a container - maybe we revisit them. We can also put our thoughts into clouds and watch them come and go.
This takes the pressure off us when negative feelings arrive - because they WILL ARRIVE since our brains think think think.
I remember learning that if you keep telling a child that they are bad that they will not know any different and identify themselves as being a bad. Reversely, if you comfort a child when they are acting bad and discover the root issue of their suffering, they can label their emotions and we can teach them that they are not what they feel; praise them for their good deeds to remind them that they are good! All people are good - some people just get stuck in the negative Law of Attraction.

I believe in the Law of Attraction because my positive spirit has brought me this beautiful life that I live! I know there is bad. I have experienced it, you have, we all have. Life is like a TV show, the commercials are the crappy parts and we cannot avoid. But we can detach from them! If you had a rough upbringing you can still have a bright future. If you had a rough day you can still have a bright tomorrow. Like the economic market, life ebbs and flows but the more grateful and positive we can be the less ebb we will attract or attach to.
My most recent experience with the Law of Attraction was before school ended (officially) this past month. I was so concerned about not finding work and being too demanded from school that I avoided applying for jobs. One morning I woke up and took some control over my thoughts and applied for jobs like a mad woman (I was actually pretty happy during the process). That week I received a call from a company I applied for a month prior! I remember applying for the position and even knowing I had the credentials I did not feel qualified. But that entire week I put it out the the universe that I will find something, something good. I received a call at the gym. It was them! It was Enviros.<3 My heart filled with joy. I told myself that I was worthy then it became true! I believe that for you too. Fake it till you make it am I right?
May the Positive Energy
Of the Universe
Surround You
Flow through You
Bring to You
Peace to your Mind
Love to your Heart
Calm to your Spirit
With love,
Zoey Fern.
