"To Be" Still.

Not going to lie, my sister would not be proud of my mess of a notebook. Sorry girl.

I've been inspired to write about being still as a I am currently struggling to. I have three exams coming up and little motivation to sit; I think I may be in holiday mode already. I have no issue binging a show on Netflix or lying down in shavasana for an entire yoga practice, but the moment studying is demanded of me... I instantly want to sign up for a marathon. I am not struggling in school by any means, but I think the majority of you would agree with me when I say that, getting into the "study mode" is a task and a half. I will admit that once you are in it, you crush life. It is getting there that is a struggle, especially when you are a person who enjoys frequent breaks. With 6 other semesters under my belt, I have gotten into a study routine fortunately!

Can we talk about how awesome that feeling is when you are done your last exam?

Looking forward to that day...

It is all about managing time. For example, should I even be blogging when I could be studying... probably not. But a part of me likes working under pressure- so here I am!

This blog is dedicated to all you students out their trying to find other things to do than study. I have to remind myself that finals are temporary and holidays are just around the corner!

My study tips:

1. Find new music to listen to

2. Re-write all of your notes (takes a while but you'll teach yourself a lot)

3. Find a study buddy! (or a few)

4. Get good sleep (haha I am a vampire)

5. Eat free breakfast at mru Whyckham

6. Use coloured pens

7. Try out the desk treadmills at mru library

8. Act confident- tell yourself that you are going to do well!

9. Make celebration plans for after exams

In summary, we are going to do great!

Happy studying & temporarily being still. <3

Bye for now ;)
